After hosting with Bounceweb.com for less than 2 months (first month free with coupon) they notified me that I use too much CPU on my account so I had 24 hours to backup my stuff and close my account. They have a 60 day money back guarantee, so I asked when I could expect my refund of $10….to put towards getting my next hosting account….They stated that there would be no refund and to “be fair”. I explained to them how it would be no different than if I waited the 60 days and then decided to that I didn’t want to be with them. So they removed my account (deleting some data that was so new I did not have backups of it) and they will not give me access to it. They sarcastically wrote me saying that I wanted a refund so here it is, but I never actually asked them for it. I simply stated that I should get the refund of a prorated amount if they are kicking me off of their server. I was calm and professional about it and they just got pissy. To me it was such a shock to see them turn from really great people that I have been working with for a few months into assholes…it made me wonder if the person there was doing drugs because it was such a backwards instantaneous change.

As a warning to everyone out there who might be interested in this seemingly awesome company, don’t be fooled as I was. They are nice on the phone and know how to speak on the phone, but they are thieves and dishonest people. They don’t care if you have a backup of your information or not, they wont even give you a chance.
